Europe trough student´s eyes.
Europe became free and open after the fall of the iron curtain. Students use this possibility for travelling and studying without boarders.
But in reality, not all curtains have fallen down. Some of them have remained in our heads in the form of prejudice against some nations, others have been shifted to the boarders of today´s Europe.
Europe, which seems to be open and free, might be an unreachable goal for students of non-European countries. Many of them undergo dangerous or illegal journeys to cross its boarders. We have in mind especially risky cruises from Marocco to Spain (realized on small boats whose capacity is exceeded manytimes), illegal means of getting a visa, illegal marriages etc…
Travelling gives us a new perspective of Europe and thus helps us appreciate things that are not a matter of fact – let us name freedom among others.
